Long Island Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence (LICADD)

The Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence LICADD provides chemical dependency screenings, expedited treatment placements, benefits coordination/advocacy and relapse prevention services to adults and adolescents. The agency also conducts family education workshops and planned interventions designed to facilitate the entry of a loved one into treatment. LICADD's prevention programs include "Too Good for Drugs," parenting workshops and a multi-session Drug and Alcohol Academy. Other services include a mentoring program for children of incarcerated parents, anger management workshops and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
